The Field Application Engineer is a highly organized and skilled individual who is responsible for managing contractor relationships, ensuring system installations meet specifications, and providing technical support. Key responsibilities include contractor scheduling, training, and technical guidance, as well as system programming and modifications. This role involves extensive, often continuous travel, with minimal time at home or home office and requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with and schedule with contractors
- Program, commission, and train contractors on systems as requested
- Modify existing cabinets for new systems as required
- Turn on new controller assemblies and program components
- Independently manage travel arrangements while coordinating schedule with sales and management personnel
- Assist contracts and our internal technicians via phone and video when needed
- Any other duties as supervisor, the President and CEO may require

• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record and be willing to furnish proof of private insurance at any time upon company request
Education and Experience:
• Technical degree or Associate degree in Engineering, preferred
• Previous experience, preferred
• Mechanical ability, required
• Familiarity with small power and hand tools needed
