Housekeeper 2nd Shift

This position is a full-time, 2:30–11:00 p.m. position. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Housekeeper to join our Facilities team. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other school facilities to uphold the high standards of our community.

Daily Cleaning Tasks

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Dust and sanitize desks, tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.

Facility Maintenance

• Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of lockers, window sills, and other fixtures.
• Organize and maintain cleaning tools and supplies in designated storage areas.

Special Assignments

• Set up and clean event spaces as required.
• Notify the Facilities Manager of any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to custodial emergencies and urgent requests from school staff.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous custodial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
