As we continue to grow and excel in the multifamily management industry, KPM is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team, particularly in the role of Assistant Maintenance, to support our mission of delivering outstanding service and operational excellence within our apartment communities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of property maintenance.
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and address their concerns to ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Assist with the turnover process of vacant units, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in facilities maintenance is a plus.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role, preferably in multifamily property management.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents and team members effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
  • Flexibility to be on call for emergency repairs as needed.
