Engineering Manager is responsible for managing a department of engineers, each of which will have multiple engineering and project assignments across the organization. The assignments will include the project management of large capital projects as well as supporting sites' safety and manufacturing processes through project execution. The Engineering Manager is responsible for evaluating and driving each team member within the department to effectively deliver assignments and projects to the expectations of the internal customer.
This includes effectively managing the engineering performance, application of codes and standards, and delivery against goals and objectives of the department. This position involves coaching, reviewing, and managing engineers through development, design, and project management of projects. In addition to the management responsibilities, the Engineering Manager may be required to lead and serve in a project manager function on strategic, cross functional teams and projects.
Travel between the Aurorium manufacturing sites will be required.
