Plant Maintenance Technician

An automotive parts manufacturer near the Lawrence, IN area is looking for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician. You will repair and maintain production machines and equipment. The ideal candidate will have PLC knowledge along with experience working on CNC mills or lathes. This is a full-time/direct-hire position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.

Responsibilities:
· Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems including CNC, hydraulics, and other related systems.
· Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems including PLCs
· Reads and interprets hydraulic drawings
· Installs, repairs, and modifies machinery

Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
· Experience working on CNC mills or lathes
· Ability to read blueprints
· Previous experience in automotive manufacturing or in a multi-cultural environment a plus .
