The Fountain Group is currently seeking a
Maintenance Technician
for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
Indianapolis, IN. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

Location:
Indianapolis, IN (100% Onsite)
Payrate: $32.92/hr W2
Duration: 5 months contract – possible extension based on performance & budget.
Night Shift: 6pm to 6am.
Training: 4-8 weeks; will be on 1st shift (6am to 6pm)
The primary function of this position is to ensure the plant production systems are maintained operational, identify and follow through on repairs, assigning repairs to Maintenance Technician or by working with vendors as necessary.

Required skills:

Must have 2-year of experience in relevant field or a technical degree.
Must possess a high level of machine troubleshooting ability in a manufacturing environment but not limited to Allen Bradley PLC's, Frequency Drives, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Servo Motors, Refrigeration systems (NH3), Boiler systems, and HVAC systems.
Food Manufacturing experience, Sanitary Design experience, and knowledge of SIX SIGMA techniques such as 5-S would be a plus (Preferred).
Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Must read and interpret blue prints, drawings and manuals.
Must Client out work and estimate materials and costs.
Must be skilled in the use of instruments, tools and equipment of the specific trade and be moderately skilled in the use of tools of various trades.
Will be assisting in working on preventative maintenance on machinery.
Ability to work an alternative work schedule and shifts.
Maintain records and inventories as required and keep an orderly and clean work area.
Must be a motivated team player.
