Position: Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)
LHH is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, IN. This organization is experiencing strong growth and has recently expanded operations, creating new leadership opportunities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to launch a new shift, lead a newly established team, influence operational structure, and drive performance in a fast-paced, high-output environment focused on efficiency and continuous improvement.

The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $75, per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead and oversee third shift production operations to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets

* Supervise and develop a team of production associates

* Establish and reinforce a strong safety culture through consistent engagement and accountability

* Monitor production performance metrics and implement improvements to meet daily goals

* Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and disruptions

* Communicate shift updates, priorities, and issues across departments and leadership

* Maintain high standards for workplace organization and cleanliness across all production areas

* Evaluate new hires during onboarding period and provide ongoing performance feedback

* Ensure accurate completion of production reports and operational documentation

* Enforce company policies related to attendance, safety, and performance expectations

* Collaborate with maintenance and support teams to resolve operational challenges

* Support process improvements and contribute to development of standard operating procedures

* Manage employee timekeeping and approve daily timecards for assigned team

* Identify and address production delays, shortages, or quality concerns proactively

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required

* Minimum of 3+ years of production leadership experience within a manufacturing plant is required

* Must have experience driving safety, quality, and productivity in a production environment

* Ideal candidates will have experience launching new shifts or supporting facility expansions

* Must be a natural problem-solver who possesses excellent communication skills

* Must possess the ability to maintain positive relationships with customers, employees and fellow leadership, exemplifying professionalism and driving a culture of positivity and excellence
