Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title

• General understanding of manufacturing processes for aerospace components.

• General awareness of Manufacturing Systems and Engineering software tools.

• General understanding of Manufacturing Operations

• Materials analysis background and/or training. Bonding/Heat Treat experience is beneficial.

• Casting or foundry operations experience

• HSE - Ensure that manufacturing processes are in full compliance to Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and meet the expectations of the Zero Harm programme.

• Technical Instructions - create documents providing instructions to process operators for completion of manufacturing HT3 blades.

• Quality - create documents and templates for controlling, collecting, and analyzing data for capability assessments.

• Process routers - create document detailing the sequence of manufacturing operations.

• Risk Assessments - assess and document risks associated with implementation and operation of manufacturing processes.

• PFMEA - complete PFMEA's for all manufacturing steps for Castbond HT3 blades.

• Cost - document piece part production costs; document implementation costs for new processes.
