Maintenance Supervisor
National food manufacturer in Greater Indianapolis seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for their 1st shift. This professional must possess leadership in a food processing & production facility overseeing the maintenance activities ensuring equipment and systems are operational and safe for employees and product quality. Leading a team of 6 technicians as it pertains to coordinating and scheduling pm's, and all unscheduled work orders, to minimize downtime and optimize production.
Skills & Experience:
- FDA-regulated experience as a Maintenance Supervisor (minimum of 3-5 years)
- Lead a team of technicians, greater than 5, in a food or beverage processing/packaging facility
- Non-union facility so one will be a "working" supervisor at times when challenges arrise
- Have a proven track record of communicating, mentoring, scheduling, and training between new and tenured Technicians.
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley)
- GED is required and Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Automation Technology preferred
Compensation:
- Salary up to 88K plus bonus potential
- M-F day shift plus an occasional Saturday shift
