Parker Lord is seeking a Chemical Product Operator to support safe, high-quality production in a team-based manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in learning chemical production processes. No previous chemical manufacturing experience is required - training is provided.
This position supports mixing, blending, packaging, cleaning, material handling, and documentation activities while following established safety, quality, and production procedures.
Schedule and Shift Details
* Shift: 3rd Shift
* Schedule:
10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning
* Shift Premium:
Additional $1.75/hour for 3rd shift
* Wage Progression: 5% increase after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period

Responsibilities
As a Chemical Product Operator, you will:
* Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures to help maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
* Work from batch cards, manufacturing instructions, procedures, and written work instructions.
* Operate mixing, blending, and related production equipment.
* Use material-handling equipment, including forklift or tow motor, as required.
* Accurately weigh materials, add ingredients, and record required production information.
* Complete production paperwork and documentation clearly and accurately.
* Clean equipment, containers, work areas, and tools according to established procedures.
* Package finished products in accordance with quality and customer requirements.
* Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and workflow.
* Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, quality, maintenance, and other support functions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* A strong safety and quality mindset.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-based, inclusive environment.
* Willingness and ability to learn chemical production processes and follow detailed instructions.
* Ability to safely drive a forklift after training and certification.
* Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including a respirator.
* Ability to climb stairs and perform physical work in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to read and understand English written instructions, procedures, safety information, and industry regulations.
* Ability to work the assigned 3rd shift schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are helpful but not required:
* Forklift or tow motor experience.
* 1-3 years of production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience.
* Lean Manufacturing experience.
* SAP experience.
* Basic chemistry knowledge.
