Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved. This role provides leadership to production teams, drives process improvements, and supports operational excellence initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Roles & Responsibilities :- Supervise daily production operations to meet established schedules and performance targets.
- Lead and motivate production personnel while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
- Monitor production output and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to support uninterrupted operations.
- Conduct shift meetings and communicate production priorities effectively.
- Analyze production data to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Assist in workforce planning, scheduling, and employee training activities.
- Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis for operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare performance reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Ensure efficient utilization of equipment, materials, and labor resources.
- 4–7 years of experience in Manufacturing or Production Operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workplace safety standards.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus (optional).
