Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Assembler - 1st Shift in Indianapolis, IN. The hourly rate for this position is $21.50 per hour. Core hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices.
If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
What you'll do:
- Be a part of a team that remanufactures mechatronic products utilizing various disassembly, cleaning, inspecting, assembly, and testing processes by following established work instructions.
- Be cross-trained and operate multiple assembly stations during a single shift.
- Adhere to all safety and quality procedures, and company policies and guidelines.
- Assist in on-the-job training for new employees.
- Perform work in a manner which supports Eaton's Quality systems (ISO 9001), and Environmental system (ISO 14000).
- Inspect product for quality acceptance and perform quality checks. Work within quality and quantity standards.
- Maintain work area housekeeping and assist in department/team housekeeping and 5S efforts.
- Work a reasonable amount of overtime, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Perform minor and preventative maintenance in assigned workstations.
