Maintenance Mechanic-

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical failures in manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Record and report any faults or discrepancies in daily operations, and propose improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in mechanical devices and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent ability to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency in maintaining mechanical systems and understanding blueprints and technical diagrams.
