Mixer Lead

Conagra Brands is hiring a Mixer Lead for our Indianapolis bakery on third shift. In this on-site role, you will lead all mixing operations to safely produce consistent, high-quality doughs and batters for our iconic food brands. You'll set up and operate industrial mixers, verify ingredients and batch records, and adjust processes to meet quality, yield, and throughput targets. The Mixer Lead coordinates the team, trains operators, and partners with Quality and Maintenance to resolve issues.

You will champion GMPs, food safety, and sanitation while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all third-shift mixing operations in the bakery.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot industrial mixers and related equipment.
• Ensure all dough/batter formulations meet quality, weight, and consistency standards.
• Verify ingredients, lot codes, and batch records for accuracy and traceability.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing and workflow to meet targets.
• Enforce safety, GMP, and sanitation standards across the mixing area.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to mixing operators and new team members.
• Complete shift reports, downtime logs, and inventory usage documentation.
• Partner with maintenance and quality teams to resolve equipment or product issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, waste, and line efficiency.
