Bilingual Manufacturing Shift Team Leader

Superior Metal Technologies in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Bilingual Manufacturing Shift Team Leader to supervise production teams in aluminum anodizing and powder coating operations. You will coordinate shift workflows, assign tasks, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a high-volume environment. Using English and Spanish, you'll train and guide operators, communicate work instructions, and support continuous improvement. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to rigorous quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shift teams in a fast-paced metal finishing environment
• Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure production targets are met
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and 5
• S/lean manufacturing standards
• Train, coach, and mentor bilingual team members on processes and work instructions
• Communicate work orders, priorities, and issues in English and Spanish
• Inspect finished products for quality and coordinate corrective actions
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime
• Document production data, shift reports, and incident records accurately
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor
• Resolve shift-level issues and escalate operational concerns as needed
