In This Role You Will:

As a future CNA with Hoosier Village, you will care for residents under direction of nursing and medical staff. The shifts are 12 hours, and we require coverage every other weekend.

* Answer signal lights to determine residents' needs

* Help residents bathe, dress, and undress

* Turn and reposition bedfast residents

* Take and record residents' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates

* Serve and collect food trays and feed residents that require help

* Transport residents by wheelchair or by assisting them to walk

* Clean, sterilize, store, prepare, and issue dressing packs, treatment trays, and other supplies

* Perform other needed tasks like running errands, directing visitors, and answering the telephone

* Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
