We work with health care providers, organizations and individuals to connect those in need to life-saving addiction treatment and mental health support that repairs lives, families and the surrounding communities.
The Recovery Village Indianapolis (RVI) is an addiction treatment center with a continuum of care for anyone struggling with substance use disorders. 71 beds, 15 beds for Detox, 34 beds for Residential, and 22 beds for Partial Hospitalization Program/Intensive Outpatient Treatment.

Director of Nursing oversees daily operations of the Nursing/Health Services Department, ensuring quality psychiatric and general nursing care for patients with chemical dependency, substance use, and mental health issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining nursing practice standards and policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Managing staff performance, recruitment, retention, and development.
- Collaborating with departments and agencies for enhanced patient care and resource sharing.
- Serving on the facility's core management team to integrate nursing services effectively.
- Overseeing nursing staffing levels and applying flexible staffing strategies.
- Coordinating infection control policies and ensuring a safe environment.
- Managing pharmacy, laboratory, and patient rights programs.
- Monitoring budgetary guidelines for nursing supplies and equipment.
- Providing direct nursing services, including patient assessments, medication administration, documentation, and communication with medical personnel.
- Participating in facility meetings, training, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and adhering to licensing standards.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree required; BSN preferred
- Five (5) years' experience in nursing field with emphasis in psychiatric, substance abuse, or eating disorders required.
- Registered Nurse in the State of licensure, active and in good standing required.
- CPR Certification required
- Experience in Nursing Leadership within a Residential or Inpatient treatment environment
Benefits begin on the 1st day of the month following date of hire.
- Pay: Starting salary $110,000/yr, based on experience.
