Registered Nurse Ambulatory Triage (RN) - Vascular East Clinic

The Ambulatory Triage Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Vascular East Clinic care team, conducting duties such as: scheduling surgery and procedures, triaging patients, entering orders for surgeries/procedures, educating patients on vascular disease and the need for surgery/procedures, care coordination and other related tasks as needed. The primary location is the East side of Indianapolis, but weekly travel is required to offsite locations including CHVH (north), CHS (south), and CHE (east) when coverage is needed.
There may be an opportunity for this position to move to a hybrid schedule, but currently onsite only.
Exceptional Skills and
Qualifications:
- Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Three years or more of nursing experience required.
- ICU, PCU, PACU or surgery experience preferred.
- Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred.
- Triage experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent team skills.
- Compassionate and caring.
- Accountable and self-directed.
- EPIC experience a plus.
