We are seeking Certified Nurse Midwifes to join one of the nation s most integrated healthcare systems, with over 1,300 providers in Indianapolis, IN.

Highlights

Community Health Network is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife, to join our OB ED team at Community Hospital Westfield located in Westfield, IN.

  • 24-hour shifts

  • Rotating weekend and holiday requirements

  • Evaluation and management of pregnant patients >16 weeks gestation seeking urgent/emergent obstetrical care

  • Evaluation and management of postpartum patients up to 6 weeks postpartum

  • Ability to independently and rapidly identify and manage emergent obstetrical and postpartum issues based on current evidence-based practice

  • Advance labor with AROM

  • Rounding on postpartum patients and facilitating discharges

  • Rounding on laboring patients at request of the attending

  • Stand-by for precipitous vaginal deliveries

  • Single, robust electronic medical record system (EPIC)

Experience

  • Expertise within the specialty of OB as a certified nurse-midwife is required

  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience practicing as a certified nurse-midwife
