Registered Nurse

This position is for a PACU Registered Nurse. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. First-time travelers are accepted. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Local candidates are accepted, but they will be offered a reduced rate. Pending licenses are not accepted; a valid in-state license along with required certifications must be in hand to submit for the position.

The schedule consists of 10-hour shifts with guaranteed hours. Travelers must be willing to float as required. Candidates must have previous experience with pediatric patients and managing various procedures. The ideal candidate will be skilled in accessing and managing ports, airway assessments, and medication management. Familiarity with primary and secondary recovery phases is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team are essential.
