RN Circulator
This position requires a nurse who will act as a circulator. Scrubbing is not required. Candidates with experience in Level I Trauma setting are preferred. There is a requirement for approximately 100 hours of call every 6 weeks, with one call weekend every six weeks. Nurses will float to other OR specialties as needed. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Previous charge experience is beneficial. The facility operates with a short-term acute care focus and typically admits adult and geriatric patients. Patient diagnoses include heart and lung transplants and other cardiovascular procedures. Successful candidates will be familiar with core procedures related to heart and lung operations. Additional interdisciplinary support may be present in the surgical unit. Floating between different areas of care is a mandatory part of the role.
Candidates must be experienced in team collaboration in a surgical setting. This position is mainly focused on providing patient care during surgical procedures. Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs within the staffing unit are essential. All candidates are expected to meet health and safety protocols as part of their employment duties.
