LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing exceptional patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in adherence to the state Nurse Practice Act and the hospital's policies and procedures. This role demands critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe and effective patient care. The Registered Nurse maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and effectively delegates patient care priorities based on the available staff's education and experience.
Additionally, the RN provides direction and supervision to personnel involved in patient care delivery.
This is a night shift position from 19:00 to 07:00.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 2 to 5 years of nursing experience required
- Must have ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association accredited)
- Experience with vents and trachs is necessary
- Minimum of 2 years recent Tele/LTAC experience in a hospital setting
- Current Indiana or multi-state compact RN license is required
