Must-Have:

• Experience with receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation
• Experience in Vascular and Thoracic surgery cases
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience

Description:

Are you able to receive lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation? Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a CVOR setting. Experience in vascular and thoracic surgery cases is required. Candidates will be expected to be available for 90-120 hours of call in a six-week schedule. Travelers must have a background in Level 1 Trauma Center protocols and procedures.

Heart and lung transplant experience is a plus. Candidates will be performing a variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to:

• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair
• Atherectomy
• Atrial Septal Defect Repair
• Cardiomyoplasty
• Carotid Endarterectomy
• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
• Endovascular Aneurysm Repair
• Endovascular Aortic Repair
• Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft
• Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery
• Mitral Valve Replacement
• Pericardial Window
• Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery
• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement
• Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair
• Ventricular Assist Device
• Valve Replacement
• Aortic Dissection

Candidates must possess strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals is required. Travel experience is preferred.
