Description:
We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The position requires a well-rounded RN experienced in various departments except cardiovascular and transplant. The candidate will be floating within the facility as needed. Candidates must have experience with trauma cases and be current in most surgical areas. The role includes the responsibility of circulating in the operating room, with scrubbing preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates should have experience with various surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
Abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, craniotomy, hernia repairs, and total joint replacement. The registered nurse will work primarily Monday to Friday with on-call requirements. They must work two out of three major holidays. Candidates should have a good understanding of the Cerner charting system. This position is suited for individuals with robust trauma experience and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
