Part-time, 30 hours per week, three 10-hour weekday shifts, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, with rotating days off, minimal call (no 24/7 ER) and we are closed the six major holidays each year! Full benefits included except Paid Time Off accrual is pro-rated!

Ortho Indy Hospital Northwest, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, provides outpatient care and inpatient care, with 10 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms and a 42-bed inpatient unit for patients undergoing more invasive procedures, such as disc replacement, spinal fusion or total hip and knee joint replacement. Other services include an urgent care, clinics, pre-op clinic, imaging and physical therapy.
General Statement of Duties:
The Registered Nurse PPOP PACU provides nursing care and service during the preoperative and postoperative periods, integrating and making nursing judgments pertaining to the patient's condition on a routine and emergency basis. The position oversees the supervision of all non-licensed personnel, while also receiving direction from Physicians.
Essential Duties:
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred from a nationally accredited nursing program - 2-4 years of PACU, ICU and/or ER Registered Nurse experience required. 4-6 years of experience preferred
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana required
- BLS, ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
