Clinical Research Nurse – Oncology
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- MUST HAVE Oncology nursing experience.
- Proficiency with blood draws, specimen handling, and clinical documentation.
- Experience using EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.
Schedule
Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, starting at 7:00 AM. Includes a brief team meeting on Friday mornings (8:30-9:00 AM), with flexible scheduling earlier in the week to accommodate meeting time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct study visits for patients enrolled in Phase I oncology clinical trials.
- Perform clinical assessments, obtain vital signs, and document findings in EPIC.
- Collect, process, and coordinate laboratory specimens, including blood draws.
- Pre-screen patients according to study protocol requirements.
- Provide patient-centered oncology nursing care during clinical trial visits.
- Collaborate with research staff to coordinate daily patient schedules and clinical activities.
- Ensure adherence to clinical trial protocols, institutional policies, and nursing standards.
- Support trial operations across multiple cancer center locations as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
