Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Needed

Certified Nursing Assistant duties and responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for many patient care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need. They often have the following responsibilities:

Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility

Preparing each patient's room with necessary items such as blankets, pillows, medical equipment and toiletries

Helping patients eat and take medications

Making sure patients have regular meals and proper medication dosages

Monitoring vitals and behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff

Transferring patients with low mobility from wheelchair to bed and vice versa

Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores

Job Requirements:

Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant License
Current BLS CPR Certification - Healthcare Provider Certification
Physical within the last six months (must include statement of "free of communicable diseases" or "without evidence of communicable disease")
Current PPD, Chest X-ray, or QuantiFERON
Pre-employment drug screen
Two Professional References (RN or LPN)
Criminal history report with no activity listed
Additional credentials may be required upon hire or per contract.
