At least 3 years of print reading experience, including basic to mid‑complexity drawings, weld symbols, and GD&T, with the ability to accurately determine and calculate measurements and tolerances.
Strong shop math proficiency, including metric and standard unit conversions, fractions to decimals, tolerance calculations, and basic trigonometry.
High school diploma or equivalent combined with formal quality control training or substantial on‑the‑job quality experience.
Manufacturing with direct exposure to production environments and quality inspection activities.
Ability to successfully pass a setup and inspection test to demonstrate practical quality and measurement skills.
Hands‑on experience working with manufacturing floor teams and answering operator questions related to quality and inspection.
Proficiency in quality assurance, quality control, and quality inspection practices, including visual inspection and use of precision tools.
