What you'll do:
Position OverviewThe Remanufacturing Quality Technician I plays a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of our electronics remanufacturing operations. In this role, you will support quality assurance processes, inspect new and reused components, analyze test results, and help drive corrective actions that improve product performance and customer satisfaction. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams, you will help ensure remanufactured products meet all customer, industry, and company quality standards while supporting Eaton's commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections, audits, sorting activities, product rework, and non-conforming material investigations to ensure products and components meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Verify product conformance using precision measuring and metrology equipment, including CMMs, optical comparators, hardness testers, and standard inspection tools, while troubleshooting measurement equipment as needed.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection records, test data, operator instructions, control plans, inspection check sheets, visual aids, and other quality system documentation to support compliance and business objectives.
- Analyze test and inspection results, participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, resolve quality concerns, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, training activities, and process enhancement projects to improve operational performance and product quality.
- Track, communicate, and report key quality metrics while effectively partnering with employees, customers, suppliers, and leadership teams to support quality and remanufacturing objectives.
