We’re looking for Finnish language specialists who live and breathe Finnish grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics. You’ll challenge advanced language models on topics such as verb conjugation, case inflection, vowel harmony, sentence structure, formal and informal language, regional variations, and the nuances of the Finnish writing system—documenting every failure mode so we can harden model reasoning.
On a typical day you will converse with the model on language scenarios, verify factual accuracy and logical soundness, capture reproducible error traces, and suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
Responsibilities- Interact with AI models to test Finnish language understanding across grammatical and pragmatic domains.
- Identify, document, and report failure modes in model responses.
- Verify factual accuracy and logical coherence of model outputs.
- Provide constructive feedback for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics improvement.
- Master’s or PhD in Finnish language, linguistics, or closely related field.
- Published peer‑reviewed research, teaching experience, or hands‑on linguistic analysis projects.
- Strong metacognitive communication skills—clear “showing your work” documentation.
- Excellent mastery of Finnish grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics.
Pay range: $8 to $65 per hour, based on experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer may vary from the listed range.
