Captain (Store Manager)/First Mate (Assistant Manager)/Second Mate (Part‑time Manager)

Responsible for assisting the management team in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise, and makes service a top priority.

• Responsible for meeting goals and measures.
• Develops and maintains relationships with top customers.
• Supports in‑store event sourcing and execution.

• Ensures the store reflects the brand vision to our customers.
• Leads the store in email capture and educates new associates on best practices.
• Ensures the customer wish list is always current and customers are notified when products arrive.

• Assists with training new associates.
• Helps foster a welcoming, fun, encouraging and energetic crew and customer environment.
• Helps recruit and refer top talent for the store’s teams.
• Supports store and team‑building activities with the management team.

• Maintains loss prevention awareness at all times.
• Helps maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
• Maintains merchandising in accordance with company standards, current compass (floorset), and brand initiatives.
• Contributes to weekly product feedback.

• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sale and repeat business.
