Analytical Chemist

Our client, a leading agricultural science and technology company is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join their team. As an Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the PAMS / Analytical Sciences Department supporting PAMS Scientists and cross-functional lab teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Analytical Chemist (Contract – 1 Year)

Location:

Indianapolis, IN Pay Range: $21.00 – $24.00/hour

• Perform sample preparation, routine analysis, and laboratory testing activities
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments (LC/GC and related systems)
• Collaborate with analytical and metabolism scientists to support research projects
• Prepare protocols, technical reports, and document results accurately
• Support lab operations including equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and supplies management

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific field
• 1+ year of experience with wet chemistry and chromatography techniques (LC/MS or GC/MS preferred)
• Prior laboratory experience (academic or professional) highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to learn new technologies and handle specialized materials (training provided)
