You will support access control, verify credentials, and screen people and/or items as they move through the facility, while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. You will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access control and security-related screening procedures and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Conduct entry screening of people and belongings using approved methods and equipment, verify identification and credentials, and help to reduce unauthorized access to restricted areas.

+ Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency services when required.

+ Perform regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas such as entrances, dock doors, trailer yards, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Monitor cameras and other security-related systems, document observations and incidents, and complete reports and logs according to post orders.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ X‐ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
