Security Officer

Position: Security Officer - Fridays
Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.;
Screen individuals, bags, and shipments entering the facility using site-approved methods and equipment, and report prohibited items or policy concerns per post orders.;
Control access at entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments or delivery documentation, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining required logs.;
Monitor assigned areas such as lobbies, screening stations, and loading dock approaches for unusual activity, and communicate concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document security-related activities, and conduct regular and random patrols around the building and perimeter as directed.
