Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity;
Control access by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, directing visitors, and helping to maintain orderly movement in public areas;
Document and report security-related events, hazards, and policy violations via written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management
