As a Security Officer X Ray Baggage Examiner in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and items, monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents.

What You'll Do:- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or property in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
- Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and restricted areas; report irregularities, prohibited items, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility interiors, and the perimeter; document observations and complete required reports.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
