** Indianapolis, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to help identify prohibited items, support access control processes, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and contribute to a welcoming environment.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Screen authorized personnel, packages, and cargo entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.

+ Verify access credentials and inspect items as assigned to help deter unauthorized entry and prohibited items.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report concerns to site leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned operational areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control/badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
