** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and shipments in accordance with site procedures and applicable screening requirements.

+ Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections to identify prohibited, restricted, or unusual items; report findings through established channels.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading areas, facility access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
