Republic Services - - Responsibilities:
Maintains a working knowledge of vehicle components and systems, and performs preventative and repair maintenance functions, both on-site and on the road;
Repair and maintenance of chassis components, refuse bodies, control, hydraulic and electrical systems, and air and hydraulic braking systems;
Engine repair and maintenance, suspension, drivetrain and steering systems, heating/air conditioning;
Performs line maintenance welding and fabrication; safely provides road service to ensure equipment is returned to operation;
Identifies the source of malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools and completes applicable company training programs
