Traveling Mig Welder
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling Mig Welders for projects located in the Milwaukee, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $24/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If all hours are met the minimum weekly earned will be $2,140. Job Scope:
- Mig welding
- Weld I-beams, frames & fuel tanks in flat/overhead positions
- Weld sheet metal from 10 gauge up to 1 inch
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts
- Weld, position & secure work pieces using hoist cranes, wire & banding machines or hand-tools
- Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
Requirements:
- Must pass various weld test, competency test, math test, drug screen and physical
- Must be able to run one bead over side without stopping
- Must be able to read measuring devices
- Must have GMAW, Mig/Mag experience
