Edwards Electrical & Mechanical Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain our fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Complete repairs on engines, brakes, suspension systems, and drivetrain components
- Perform oil changes, tire services, and inspections
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
- Ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
- Keep shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety policies
- Communicate repair timelines and needs with Fleet leadership
- 5+ years of mechanic experience (fleet or automotive preferred)
- Experience working on light- and medium-duty trucks
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and crawling
- Ability to work in a shop environment year-round
- Manual dexterity required for use of tools and equipment
Monday – Friday, day shift. Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
