• Pull, terminate, dress, and label fire alarm cable.
• Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment.
• Terminate fire alarm panels and devices.
• Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints.
• Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights).
• Install and support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.).

• 3+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in Fire Alarm Systems.
• Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes).
• Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming systems (Edwards, Silent Knight, Fire Lite, etc. a plus).
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Indianapolis, IN, and the surrounding areas as needed.
