Fire Alarm Technician
We are actively searching for alarm technicians of all levels. Key responsibilities include technical aptitude, the ability to climb ladders, work in a lift without fear of heights, lift up to 50 pounds, provide basic hand tools, and possess basic troubleshooting skills. Candidates should be able to work alone or with others, read and follow blueprints/drawings, decipher the resistor color code, have mechanical aptitude, basic programming skills, and the ability to read, use, and understand a multi-meter.
Additional skills include using a telephone butt-set, a tone generator, device replacement skills, and the ability to disable most fire alarm panel NAC circuits. Factory trained on any fire alarm system and NICET I or II in Fire Alarm is a plus but not required.
Requirements include being at least 18 years old, having a high school diploma or GED, being physically fit to do the work of the trade, having other than a dishonorable discharge from the military (if applicable), passing an appropriate drug test, possessing and maintaining a valid driver's license, and passing a background check.
