Role Overview :
The Program Coordinator ensures that DCS policies are consistent across the state and are completed and evaluated according to state law, administrative rules, and DCS policies.
Duties include:
* Lead employer noncompliance project management.
* Issue amended and termination Income Withholding orders for Undistributed Collections.
* Assist with various reports.
* Process:
* Employer verification and update requests.
* Employer terminations.
* Non-custodial Parent annual support fee notices.
* Non-compliance terminations.
* Employer lump sums.
* Recieve and update records for returned mail.
This position is in the DCS Central Offices at the Indiana Government Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Salary:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $39,000 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:
The essential functions of this role are:
* Research and compile information on specific aspects of the program such as procedures, needs and policies.
* Answer basic customer questions about program policies and procedures.
* Establish, organize, and maintain current and historical files related to the program.
* Collect information to help in the preparation of program reports, develop applications, prepare budget allocations and/or purchasing of consultative services.
* Maintain, organize, and monitor program assets.
* Schedule, prepare, and disseminate all program related training materials.

What You'll Need for Success:
This person must have the following requirements to be considered for employment:
* General knowledge of the program area.
* Working knowledge of applicable legislation, guidelines, agency policy and professional standards and practices.
* Ability to research and compile specific topics related to program area.
* Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
* Ability to operate effectively in a group decision-making process.
* Tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public.
* Specialized knowledge of accounting principles.
* Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
