Youth Sports Coach

Amazing Athletes, a leading provider of sport enrichment programs for children aged 2-12, is seeking a Youth Sports Coach to join their dynamic team. As a Youth Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering fun and engaging multi-sport lessons in a non-competitive environment to children. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching children, a positive attitude and experience working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Delivering 10 different sports lessons, such as soccer, basketball, and tennis to children aged 1-6 years in a non-competitive and supportive environment.
• Delivering lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills, physical literacy, and health.
• Creating and executing engaging lesson plans.
• Building positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Managing the classrooms, materials and equipment necessary for successful lessons.
• Ensuring all children are safe, happy and comfortable in each lesson
• Monitoring and evaluating children's progress and providing feedback to parents.

Requirements

• Experience working with children aged 1-12 years old
• 18 years of age or older / minimum eduction: GED or HS grad
• Passion for teaching and promoting physical education among children.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to execute engaging lesson plans.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive disposition
• Availability to work minimum 3 days a week including after school
• Reliable transportation, must be willing to travel throughout the greater Indianapolis area

Benefits

Starting pay range is $18 - 22 / class, minimum 20 classes a week, more as schedule allows

3 paid days off per calendar year
