Transportation Receptionist - AM
The Metropolitan School District of Washington Township (MSDWT) has a position available for a Transportation Receptionist - AM. The position is located at the Transportation Center with a start date of July 6, 2026. The work schedule is from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch. The position is for the school year, which includes 205 working days.
The FLSA classification is hourly, non-exempt, with a salary of $16.00 per hour. Benefits include paid leave days, paid holidays, retirement contributions, life insurance, and health, dental, and vision insurance offerings. The benefit effective date is dependent on the hire date.
The position purpose is to foster good communication and diplomatic resolutions as a first contact between the Transportation Department, callers, or anyone coming into the office. The receptionist will assist with radio calls as needed, become cross-trained in other transportation areas, maintain a file system for bus seating charts, order office supplies, assist in transportation-related projects, and communicate daily with schools and admin regarding route/student changes.
The candidate should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, display professional behavior, and maintain strict confidentiality.
