Job Posting
Scheduling inbound and outbound loads using SAP / WMS and Transportation Management systems. Work closely with the DC manager and third-party shipping office on maximizing the dock schedule. Work with other team members to answer customer and carrier email questions in a timely manner. Run specific reports timely and distribute to appropriate teams using email distribution list or downloading to shared drive file.
Communicate trailer needs to carriers and monitors trailer pool at each DC. Other duties that relate to transportation.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships within a third-party distribution center. Timely and effective verbal and written communications. Must possess strong analytical skills including problem resolution and analysis. Computer literacy in Client Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong skill set in WMS, Red Prairie, and SAP.
