Supports and/or contributes to planning transportation needs for the efficient movement of volume to maximize capacity and minimize partial trailer loads;
Directs the dispatch of transportation equipment in accordance with the Linehaul plan;
Collaborates with Fed Ex field operations to plan contractor and equipment needs to ensure trailer movement coverage;
Coordinates and tracks processing and movement of Fed Ex trailers, rental equipment, new trailers, and dollies;
Enters trip details into an online system (TMS) to ensure on-time delivery and pick up of trailers
