Inventory & Supply Clerk
East Side - Indianapolis, IN
$15.00/hour
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Are you organized, dependable, and comfortable working with parts and supplies? We're hiring an Inventory & Supply Clerk for a day shift position on the east side of Indianapolis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and keeping operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Issue parts, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Maintain secure storage areas for all inventory
- Track and update inventory schedules
- Receive, log, ship, and stock parts and supplies
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Review work orders for accuracy
- Enter requisitions and receiving data into inventory systems
- Complete and process requisition forms
- Assist with distribution at the walk-up counter
- Support department inspection programs
- Answer telephone inquiries and coordinate with vendors
Required:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Basic computer skills for inventory control and data entry
- Ability to lift and move supplies regularly
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Experience handling automotive or mechanical supplies
- Experience in warehouse, inventory, or parts environments
- $15.00 per hour
- Day shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Monday through Friday
- East side Indianapolis location
