Adjunct Faculty – Applied Music; Voice

Simpson College is seeking qualified and passionate educators for part-time Adjunct Faculty positions in Applied Music. We are currently hiring specialists in voice to provide individualized and/or group instruction to music majors and non-majors. These positions are ideal for professional musicians and educators who are committed to student success and artistic excellence.

• Provide applied instruction in voice for majors and non-majors
• Prepare and deliver course materials, including syllabi
• Evaluate student progress through performances, assignments, and assessments.
• Offer constructive feedback and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental juries and recitals.
• Maintain professional standards in teaching and musicianship.

• Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Music or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in vocal performance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.

• College-level teaching experience.
• Active performance career or professional experience in art song and opera, with familiarity with musical theatre.
• Familiarity with digital tools for music instruction
